Membership

Every Province. No cap on numbers.

There is room for every farmer who wants to belong. Membership of the Farmers Links Association of Zambia begins with a form and the current enrolment fee, and holds for as long as your subscription stays paid up.

Who Can Join

Grow, process, or aggregate — you can join.

Membership is open to farmers in all ten Provinces of Zambia, working in primary production, processing, or aggregation. There is no maximum limit on the number of members.

The Association can only represent the farmers it can name. Membership is how you are counted.

What membership brings

Here is what a paid-up member actually gets.

  • A voice bigger than your own

    Alone, a farming household negotiates from weakness. As a member, your interests reach the forums and partner meetings where decisions about farmers are made, and the Association defends your rights as you work your land.

  • Training brought to your camp

    Learning that comes to you on a needs basis — practical skills in better methods and modern technology, led by resource people the Association brings in, not a distant classroom.

  • Methods that lift your yield

    Technical help to modernise how you farm, aimed squarely at getting more — and better — off the same land.

  • A way to reach buyers

    Introductions to markets at home and across the border, business-to-business linkages, exchange visits, and access to experts you would struggle to reach on your own.

  • Finance within reach

    Support to get investment-ready, and partner links to low-cost financing you could not reach alone — capital aimed at lifting your productivity, meeting bigger orders, and adding value to what you grow.

  • Backing when you need it

    When members identify something they need — a training day, a market trip, new equipment — the Association goes looking for the resources and materials to make it happen.

  • Counted, not just registered

    Your place in a countrywide record of farmers — the roll the Association points to when a buyer, partner, or government office asks how many farmers, and in which Province, it represents.

How to Join

Three steps, then you're on the register.

  1. 01

    Complete an application on the form prescribed by the Executive Committee.

  2. 02

    Pay the current enrolment fee alongside the application. This fee is non-refundable should the application not be accepted.

  3. 03

    Keep your subscriptions and fees paid in full for the period the Executive Committee sets — your place on the register holds only while you are fully paid up.

Fees

Enrolment fees and annual subscriptions are set each year by the Executive Committee. We'll share the current amounts when you enquire.

Tell us who you are and where you farm. A Provincial Coordinator will follow up with the enrolment form prescribed by the Executive Committee and the current fees.
